Anti-p70 S6K (phospho-S424) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets p70 S6K phosphorylated at Serine 424. Raised in rabbit, the unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and shows reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human p70 S6K around the phosphorylation site of Serine 424. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of p70 S6 kinase only when phosphorylated at Ser424, and also recognises p85 S6 kinase when phosphorylated at Ser447. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol.

Affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, the purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. Observed molecular weights are approximately 59, 70, and 85 kDa.
