Anti-p70 S6K (phospho-S411) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets p70 S6 kinase phosphorylated at serine 411 (phospho-S411). It is supplied unconjugated as a 1 mg/ml solution in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human p70 S6K around the phosphorylation site of serine 411. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of p70 S6 kinase only when phosphorylated at Ser411, and also recognises p85 S6 kinase when phosphorylated at Ser434. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal.

Reported molecular weight is approximately 59, 70 and 85 kDa, consistent with the relevant kinase isoforms. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
