Anti-p62Dok (Ab-398) Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets p62Dok (also known as DOK1, UniProt Q99704) and is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning residues 396–400 (P-I-Y-D-E) of the human protein. The unconjugated, antigen-affinity purified antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at approximately 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, with an isotype of Rabbit IgG. Validated applications include Western blot (1:500–1:1000), immunohistochemistry (1:50–1:100) and immunofluorescence (1:100–1:200), and reactivity has been confirmed on human samples such as K562, HL-60 and JK cells, where the target migrates at the predicted molecular weight of around 62 kDa. DOK1 functions as an enzymatically inert adaptor or scaffolding protein that provides a docking platform for multimolecular signalling complexes and acts as a negative regulator of the insulin signalling pathway while modulating integrin activation through competition with talin for binding on ITGB3. For short-term use the reagent should be stored at 4 °C, where it remains stable for up to six months, while long-term storage is recommended at −20 °C with avoidance of repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
