Anti-p53 (phospho-S6) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody specific for human p53 phosphorylated at Serine 6, available from Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent. The antibody is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation applications and reacts with human samples. It was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human p53 around the Serine 6 phosphorylation site and specifically recognises endogenous levels of p53 only when phosphorylated at that residue. The reagent has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, with a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. It is supplied at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2, and the target protein migrates at approximately 53,43 kDa.
