Anti-p53 (phospho-S46) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against p53 and specifically recognises the protein only when phosphorylated at Serine 46. It is supplied unconjugated and validated for Western blot (WB) on human samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human p53 surrounding the phosphorylation site of Serine 46, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of p53 when phosphorylated at Ser46. It is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The target resolves at the expected molecular weight of ~53,43 kDa. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
