Anti-p53 (phospho-S20) Antibody

Antibodies.com supplies a Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against p53 and specific for the phosphorylation site Serine 20. The unconjugated reagent is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human p53 around the Serine 20 phosphorylation site, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of p53 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser20. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with Human and Mouse samples.

The reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The molecular weight of the target is ~53,43 kDa.
