Anti-p53 (phospho-S15) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody is available through Antibodies.com and targets p53 phosphorylated at Serine 15. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunoprecipitation (IP), the unconjugated reagent detects endogenous levels of p53 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser15. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human p53 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 15. It reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, and the target protein has a molecular weight of ~ 53,43 kDa.
