Offered through Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent, this Mouse monoclonal reagent targets the C-terminus of the p53 tumor suppressor protein and is supplied at the 50 µl pack size. The clone is an IgG2b isotype and is provided as an unconjugated, affinity-purified immunoglobulin in PBS (pH 7.4) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, suitable for direct labelling or secondary detection workflows. It was raised against purified recombinant human p53 protein fragments expressed in E. coli, and the manufacturer states that it detects endogenous levels of p53 without cross-reacting with related proteins, with a recommended Western blotting dilution of 1:1000. Validation data published on the Antibodies.com product page show detection of TP53 in SW480, T47D and MDA-MB-468 cell lysates, giving a predicted and observed band at approximately 53 kDa. Application coverage is limited to Western blot (WB), reactivity is confirmed for Human samples (with cross-reactivity to Mouse reported in supplier metadata), and the host species is Mouse with monoclonal clonality. For storage, the supplier recommends keeping the vial at -20 °C, and the product is intended for research use only and not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Researchers studying DNA damage response, cell-cycle arrest, apoptosis regulation, or tumour suppressor biology will find this lot a well-characterised probe for monitoring steady-state and stress-induced p53 levels across a range of human and mouse cell-line models.
