Anti-p53 Antibody [N33]

The Anti-p53 Antibody [N33] from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b reagent raised against the N-terminal region of the human p53 tumor suppressor protein. The N33 clone recognizes an epitope common to wild-type and mutant p53 isoforms and is validated for western blot, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded tissue sections. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 100 µg liquid preparation in individual vials and is intended for research use only in studies of apoptosis, DNA damage response, and cancer biology.

Suggested starting dilutions are 1-2 µg/mL for western blot, with further titration recommended for ICC and IHC-P on formalin-fixed tissue. For storage, keep aliquots frozen at -20 °C in working volumes and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; short-term refrigerated storage is acceptable. This antibody has been used to evaluate p53 status in diverse human tumor samples and shows reactivity restricted to human p53, with no significant cross-reactivity reported for mouse or rat orthologs under standard assay conditions.
