Anti-p53 (Ab-15) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning residues 13–17 (P-L-S-Q-E) of human p53 and is affinity-purified using the epitope-specific peptide. It is supplied as an unconjugated antibody at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, with no magnesium or calcium ions. The antibody detects the endogenous total pool of the p53 tumor suppressor protein (predicted molecular weight ~53 kDa) and is validated for ELISA, Western blotting, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry, with recommended dilutions of 1:500–1:1000 for WB, 1:50–1:100 for IHC, and 1:100–1:200 for immunofluorescence. Reactivity has been confirmed in Human, Mouse, Rat, and Monkey samples, and the polyclonal host species is Rabbit. For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored long-term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
