Anti-p300 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against the transcriptional coactivator p300 (also known as EP300, KAT3B), a large nuclear lysine acetyltransferase that plays a central role in chromatin remodeling, histone acetylation, and the regulation of gene expression. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminal region of human p300, and the antibody specifically recognizes endogenous levels of total p300 protein. Supplied as 50 µL at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, the reagent is formulated as rabbit IgG in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and is presented unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream detection. It is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, making it well suited to studies of transcriptional regulation, cell-cycle control, differentiation, and cancer biology.
