Anti-p22-phox Antibody

Raised in rabbit against p22-phox, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 50 µl volume at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The immunogen corresponds to a sequence within the human p22-phox (CYBA / cytochrome b-245 light chain) target, and the antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum to enrich for antigen-specific immunoglobulins of the IgG isotype, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. Validated specifically for Western blot (WB), the reagent is recommended for detection of the approximately 22 kDa p22-phox subunit of the NADPH oxidase complex in human, mouse and rat samples. A typical WB working dilution is 1:500–1:1000, allowing clear visualisation of endogenous p22-phox in whole-cell lysates such as MCF-7, NIH/3T3 and PC12. For short-term use the vial should be kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C; for longer storage it should be aliquoted and frozen at –20 °C, with repeated freeze-thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
