Anti-p21 (phospho-T145) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises p21 only when phosphorylated at threonine 145 (Thr145). It was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human p21 surrounding the Thr145 phosphorylation site and detects p21 protein only in its Thr145-conditional state, detecting endogenous levels of p21 only when phosphorylated at this residue. The unconjugated reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE.

Validated for WB and IHC, the antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of ~ 21 kDa.
