Anti-p130 Cas (phospho-Y249) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against p130 Cas phosphorylated at tyrosine 249 (phospho-Y249), a key docking-site residue within the substrate domain of BCAR1/p130Cas. Tyrosine-249 phosphorylation, together with the neighboring Y165, Y213, and Y410 sites, is a hallmark of integrin- and growth-factor-driven signaling and is widely used as a read-out of focal-adhesion kinase (FAK) and Src-family-kinase activity at focal adhesions.

Supplied as 100 µL of antibody at 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), pH ~7.2, with 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative. The reagent is unconjugated and is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry (ICC). It cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples and is therefore appropriate for cell-line and tissue-based work in cell-biology, cancer-cell-migration, and mechanotransduction labs.
