Ox40 (also known as CD134 or TNFRSF4) is a co-stimulatory receptor of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily that is transiently expressed on activated CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocytes. Engagement of Ox40 by its ligand OX40L on antigen-presenting cells amplifies T-cell proliferation, survival, cytokine production, and memory formation, making this receptor a focal target in studies of immune regulation, autoimmune disease, cancer immunotherapy, and vaccine adjuvant biology.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes the human Ox40 protein and is provided as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes across the target, which is useful when probing denatured protein in Western blot workflows or capturing antigen in ELISA assays. As an unconjugated primary antibody, this reagent couples readily to user-selected reporter systems and supports in vitro work with cell lysates, tissue extracts, and recombinant protein preparations intended for research use only.

For handling, aliquot upon first use and freeze the antibody to preserve activity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles, keeping working stocks refrigerated in the short term. The product ships as a single vial containing 100 µl of liquid reagent.
