Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against human orosomucoid-1 (ORM1, also known as AGP1 or alpha-1-acid glycoprotein 1) and is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in 50 µL of phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The antibody was affinity-purified using a recombinant human ORM1 immunogen and is unconjugated, with the IgG isotype, making it well suited to standard immunodetection workflows. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC); in published IHC data, a1:200 dilution on paraffin-embedded human kidney produces clear cytoplasmic staining. The antibody recognizes the endogenous total ORM1 protein and, according to the Antibodies.com product page, reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. Vials are sent on blue ice at 4 °C and, on arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The 50 µL pack size is one of two formats offered (alongside a 100 µL option) and is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. With part number A38460, this reagent provides a reliable option for laboratories studying acute-phase ORM1 expression in inflammation, liver biology and related biomedical research.
