ORC4L (Origin Recognition Complex Subunit 4) is a core component of the six-subunit ORC complex that binds to DNA replication origins and licenses the assembly of the pre-replication complex during the G1 phase of the cell cycle. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against ORC4L and validated for Western blot detection of the endogenous protein in human and mouse samples. Supplied as 200 µl of unconjugated IgG, the reagent supports research into chromosome segregation, genome stability, and the mechanisms that couple DNA replication onset to cell-cycle progression. Because ORC4L function intersects with checkpoint signaling and heterochromatin silencing pathways, researchers studying cancer cell proliferation, replication stress, or developmental DNA replication programs frequently use this reagent to track ORC4L expression and complex integrity in cell lysates and tissue extracts.
