Anti-ORC1 Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the origin recognition complex subunit 1 (ORC1), also known by the synonyms ORC1L, PARC1, and replication control protein 1. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human ORC1, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of ORC1 protein. It is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated for flexible assay design. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and ELISA, with reactivity confirmed against human samples. The host species is rabbit and the clonality is polyclonal, with the antibody being affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
