The mu-opioid receptor is the principal binding site for endogenous opioid peptides and clinical analgesics such as morphine, making OPRM1 a central focus of neuroscience and pain research. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent was raised against OPRM1 and has been validated for western blot on mouse and rat samples, the standard rodent systems used to probe receptor expression in reward pathways, spinal cord dorsal horn, and brain regions including the periaqueductal gray and nucleus accumbens.
Supplied as 50 µl of antibody in a single vial, the reagent supports multiple blotting experiments or parallel probing alongside loading controls. For best stability, store at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, protect from light, and dilute in blocking buffer according to the membrane and transfer conditions used in your immunoblotting protocol. Full reactivity and application details are available from Antibodies.com.
