Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets OPN (L285) and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications. The unconjugated reagent reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.
It was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 251–300 of Human OPN and detects endogenous levels of Osteopontin/SPP1 protein. The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity reported as > 95% by SDS-PAGE.
Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody recognises bands at approximately 35 and 60 kDa.
