OPHN1 (Oligophrenin-1) is a Rho-GTPase activating protein critical for dendritic spine morphogenesis, axon guidance, and synaptic plasticity. Mutations in the OPHN1 gene are linked to X-linked intellectual disability and cerebellar hypoplasia. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against OPHN1 and is validated for Western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as 200 µl of ready-to-use reagent, the polyclonal format enables recognition of multiple epitopes on endogenous OPHN1 protein in neuronal lysates and brain tissue homogenates. The unconjugated IgG isotype offers flexibility for downstream labeling with HRP, fluorophore, or biotin conjugates depending on experimental design. Investigators working on RhoA signaling, neurodevelopmental disorders, and synaptic plasticity can apply this reagent to probe OPHN1 expression across differentiated cell lines and primary neuronal cultures.
