Anti-Op18 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against the Op18 protein (also known as stathmin) and is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using an epitope-specific immunogen. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide at a concentration of 1 mg/ml, and is unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream labelling. It is validated for western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF) and ELISA, and has been shown to detect endogenous Op18 in human, mouse, rat and monkey samples. The immunogen corresponds to a synthetic peptide derived from human Op18 around the non-phosphorylation site of S16, which contributes to the reagent's specificity. For long-term stability, the antibody should be stored at −20 °C, where it remains stable for up to one year.
