Anti-Op18 Antibody

The polyclonal rabbit antibody against Op18 (also known as Stathmin 1) supplied by Antibodies.com is a 50 µl vial of unconjugated primary antibody formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. Op18 is a broadly expressed ~19 kDa cytoplasmic phosphoprotein that destabilizes microtubules and regulates mitotic spindle dynamics, with phosphorylation at serine residues 16, 25, 38 and 63 controlling its activity through the cell cycle. This reagent is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry and immunoprecipitation workflows on human, mouse and rat samples, supporting studies of proliferation, differentiation and tumor biology across model systems. For routine use, keep the vial at 4 °C; for long-term storage, aliquot and freeze to limit freeze-thaw cycles that erode antibody activity.
