Anti-OGFR Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the opioid growth factor receptor (OGFR), a single-pass membrane protein that mediates the antiproliferative action of opioid growth factor ([Met⁵]-enkephalin) in human cells. OGFR is studied in the context of cell-cycle regulation, tissue development, wound healing, and opioid receptor signaling, and altered receptor expression has been examined in cancer cell lines and primary epithelial cultures.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the antibody is unconjugated and validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human samples. The polyclonal format broadens epitope coverage, supporting detection of full-length and partially processed receptor forms in cell lysates and fixed tissue sections.

Each vial contains 100 µL of antibody. The product should be stored refrigerated; aliquoting is recommended to minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and the preparation should be protected from light during handling.
