ODC1 (Ornithine Decarboxylase 1) is the rate-limiting enzyme in polyamine biosynthesis, catalyzing the conversion of ornithine to putrescine. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of liquid at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, shipped in a single-use vial. Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry, the antibody detects endogenous ODC1 in human, mouse, and rat samples and supports research in oncology, cell proliferation, and polyamine metabolism. For storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C; protect from repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity. Research use only; not for diagnostic procedures.
