Anti-OCLN Antibody

This primary antibody, supplied by Antibodies.com, is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against Occludin (OCLN). It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and has been validated for use in Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. The reagent reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is affinity purified.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 400–522 of human Occludin (NP_002529.1). It is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, with an expected molecular weight of 65 kDa. The recommended Western blot dilution range is 1:1,000–1:5,000. The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
