Anti-Occludin Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against Occludin, raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated. The reagent is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

This primary antibody has been validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC) and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples. It was generated using a recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 269-522 of human Occludin, and the polyclonal reagent detects endogenous levels of Occludin protein. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The target protein, Occludin, has a reported molecular weight of approximately 59 kDa.
