Anti-OAT Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal primary antibody is raised in rabbit and targets OAT (ornithine aminotransferase). It is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The reagent reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The antibody was generated against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 171–216 of human OAT and specifically detects endogenous levels of mitochondrial ornithine aminotransferase protein, which has a molecular weight of approximately 49 kDa. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) applications and is supported by one scientific validation image. The product was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
