OASL (2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase-like) is an interferon-induced cytosolic protein that contributes to innate antiviral immunity by amplifying pattern-recognition receptor signaling rather than synthesizing 2-5A oligomers. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against OASL and is validated for Western blot detection of the human target, supplied as 100 µl of IgG-class antiserum for immunoblotting of cell and tissue lysates. Because OASL expression is strongly upregulated by type I interferons during viral infection, the antibody is commonly deployed to study innate immune activation, interferon-stimulated gene programs, and host-pathogen interactions in relevant cell models. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on OASL, supporting consistent signal in denaturing gel and transfer conditions typical of WB workflows. Researchers working on antiviral signaling, ISG biology, or comparative OAS-family expression can use this reagent to profile endogenous OASL levels across human samples.
