This primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets OASL (2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase-like protein), an interferon-stimulated gene product involved in innate antiviral defense. The 100 µl polyclonal reagent was raised in rabbit and is supplied unconjugated, supporting both Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human samples. OASL itself lacks catalytic 2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase activity, yet still contributes to viral restriction by amplifying pattern-recognition receptor signaling through RIG-I and enhancing type I interferon responses. Investigators apply this reagent to track OASL induction following viral infection, interferon stimulation, or in studies of autoimmune and inflammatory disease where interferon pathways are dysregulated. Validated for WB and IHC, the antibody recognizes the human OASL isoform and is provided in a liquid vial that should be stored refrigerated to preserve binding activity across repeated experiments.
