Anti-nucleoporin p62 Antibody

The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal reagent targets nucleoporin p62 (NUP62), an essential component of the central transporter of the nuclear pore complex that mediates nucleocytoplasmic trafficking of proteins and RNA. Raised in rabbit, the unconjugated antibody recognizes the human target and is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. In IF, it yields the characteristic punctate rim staining of the nuclear envelope, while in WB it labels a band near the expected 62 kDa molecular weight of the NUP62 protein.

This reagent supports studies of nuclear pore architecture, mitotic NPC disassembly, viral nuclear entry mechanisms, and the anti-NUP62 autoantibodies reported in conditions such as primary biliary cholangitis. Each vial contains 100 ul of antibody, supplied unconjugated for flexibility with custom secondary reagents or direct detection chemistries, with reactivity specified for human samples only.
