NR4A1 (also called Nur77, TR3, or NGFI-B) is an orphan member of the nuclear receptor superfamily that acts as a ligand-independent transcription factor. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against the Ab-351 epitope of human NR4A1, enabling Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on formalin-fixed tissue sections and cultured cell lysates. The antibody is supplied in a 100 µl vial of unconjugated serum intended for research use only; it should be stored at -20 °C and dispensed into single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. The reagent is useful for studies of glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis, T-cell negative selection, dopaminergic signaling in the striatum, and the metabolic roles of NR4A1 in macrophages and skeletal muscle, where modification at the Ab-351 site is reported to influence mitochondrial translocation and target gene expression.
