Anti-NTSR2 Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets human Neurotensin Receptor 2 (NTSR2), a G protein-coupled receptor belonging to the neurotensin receptor family. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation, the reagent is validated for Western Blot detection of human NTSR2 in cell and tissue lysates. NTSR2, also referred to as NTR2 or the sortilin-related receptor, is broadly expressed in neural tissue with notable abundance in the cerebellum, hippocampus, and cerebral cortex. The receptor couples through Gαi/o proteins to modulate intracellular calcium and downstream kinase activity, and has been implicated in dopaminergic signaling, glutamatergic transmission, and neuronal development. It is therefore a target of interest in neuroscience research on cognition, pain modulation, and neurodevelopmental disease models.
