Anti-NTMT1 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against NTMT1, the alpha-N-terminal protein methyltransferase (also called METTL11A and previously referred to as NRMT) that methylates the alpha-amino group of substrates bearing an N-terminal Met-X-Pro-Lys consensus motif. The unconjugated primary antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant for low-temperature storage, and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence detection of the endogenous enzyme in human and mouse samples. Each 100 µl vial is intended for research use only, and the polyclonal format allows recognition of multiple epitopes across the NTMT1 target, supporting investigations of N-terminal protein methylation, chromatin-associated factor regulation, centromere function, and DNA damage response signaling.
