Anti-NTF3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against neurotrophin-3 (NTF3), this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. NTF3 is a member of the neurotrophin family — alongside NGF, BDNF, and NT-4 — and signals predominantly through the TrkC (NTRK3) receptor to support neuronal survival, neurite outgrowth, and synaptic plasticity in the central and peripheral nervous systems. The reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling detection of endogenous NTF3 in tissue lysates and fixed sections from brain, dorsal root ganglia, and sympathetic ganglia, where the protein is most abundantly expressed during development. The 50% glycerol buffer allows storage at -20 °C without freezing, with single-use aliquoting recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity across multiple experiments.
