Anti-NTCP Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is designed to detect endogenous levels of the NTCP (SLC10A1) bile salt transporter. The antiserum was generated against a synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human NTCP, and is supplied as an unconjugated, liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide at a concentration of 1 mg/mL. The 50 µl size is validated for use in Western blotting and ELISA on human samples, making it suitable for hepatic uptake and cholestasis-related research. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C upon arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
