Anti-NSF Antibody

N-ethylmaleimide-Sensitive Factor (NSF) is a homohexameric AAA+ ATPase that catalyzes the disassembly of cis-SNARE complexes following membrane fusion, a step required for sustained vesicular trafficking between the endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, and plasma membrane. This polyclonal antibody was raised in rabbit and is supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. Provided as a 100 µl vial of unconjugated reagent, the antibody is validated for western blot detection of endogenous NSF in human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent recognizes epitopes on the native NSF protein and is suited to studies of synaptic vesicle recycling, regulated exocytosis, and intracellular membrane transport.
