Anti-NSF Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive fusion protein (NSF). The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit hosts and is reactive with human, mouse, rat and zebrafish samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 251–400 of human NSF (NP_006169.2). Recommended starting dilutions are 1:1,000–1:5,000 for Western blot, 1:50–1:200 for immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and 1:1,000–1:5,000 for immunoprecipitation. The target has an expected molecular weight of 80 kDa.

The antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and is purified by affinity chromatography. Concentration is reported as lot specific. The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
