This unconjugated polyclonal antibody targets Neuropilin-2 (NRP2), a single-pass transmembrane glycoprotein that functions as a co-receptor for class 3 semaphorins and certain VEGF isoforms. NRP2 is widely studied in lymphatic endothelial biology, axon guidance, tumor angiogenesis, and metastatic dissemination research, particularly in breast carcinoma and melanoma models. The reagent is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows. It detects human, mouse, and rat NRP2, supporting cross-species experimental design across cell line and primary tissue samples. Each vial contains 100 µL of antibody supplied as an unconjugated antiserum compatible with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary detection systems, allowing flexibility for chromogenic or immunofluorescence readouts. The product is offered through Antibodies.com as part of their Primary Antibodies catalog. Practical uses include characterization of NRP2 expression patterns in tumor and normal tissue sections, confirmation of NRP2 knockdown or overexpression in cell lysates by Western blot, and investigation of semaphorin and VEGF signaling axes relevant to vascular and neuronal development. For handling, store at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve long-term binding activity.
