Anti-Nrf2 (phospho-S40) Antibody

This recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes Nrf2 phosphorylated at serine 40, a key regulatory site within the Nrf2-Keap1 oxidative stress response pathway. Phosphorylation at S40, mediated in part by PKC isoforms, promotes dissociation of Nrf2 from its cytoplasmic Keap1 repressor and drives nuclear translocation, where the transcription factor induces expression of antioxidant response element (ARE)-driven genes such as NQO1, HMOX1, and glutamate-cysteine ligase subunits. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µL of recombinant antibody in 1*TBS (pH 7.4) supplemented with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative.

Validated across multiple immunoassay formats, the antibody is suited to Western blot detection of phosphorylated Nrf2, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescence staining of activated Nrf2 in cultured cells, immunohistochemistry on fixed tissue sections, and flow cytometry analysis. Reactivity has been confirmed against human Nrf2, supporting studies in oxidative stress, inflammation, neurodegeneration, and cancer signaling research.
