NR5A2 (nuclear receptor subfamily 5, group A, member 2), also called LRH-1, is a ligand-regulated transcription factor implicated in bile acid synthesis, steroidogenesis, cholesterol and lipid homeostasis, intestinal epithelial renewal, and pluripotency signaling in embryonic stem cells. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against NR5A2 and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid in a single-use vial, ready for dilution into standard blocking buffers for chromogenic or fluorescent detection of endogenous NR5A2 in tissue sections and cell preparations. Because NR5A2 is predominantly nuclear in hepatocytes, enterocytes, granulosa cells, and certain pluripotent populations, this reagent supports studies mapping receptor distribution, transcriptional programs, and disease-associated changes in metabolic and reproductive biology. Host species, clonality, and unconjugated format allow flexible secondary antibody pairing, while the cross-species reactivity extends its utility to comparative animal models of liver and intestinal pathophysiology.
