The Anti-NR4A1 Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Nuclear Receptor subfamily 4 group A member 1, an orphan nuclear receptor and immediate-early transcription factor also known as Nur77, TR3, or NGFI-B. The unconjugated antibody is supplied in a 100 µl vial and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples.

NR4A1 is rapidly induced by a broad set of stimuli — including T cell receptor engagement, glucocorticoids, prostaglandins, fatty acids, and cellular stress — and regulates programs ranging from thymic negative selection and inflammatory gene expression to glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis in immature thymocytes and certain cancer cell lines. Researchers use the antibody to monitor NR4A1 induction kinetics, map its subcellular localization (predominantly nuclear under basal conditions, with cytoplasmic redistribution upon specific apoptotic signals), and probe its role in metabolic and inflammatory signaling cascades.

As an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, the antibody is compatible with secondary antibody-based detection chemistries and with standard fluorescent or enzymatic labeling strategies. It is intended for research use only and supports studies in immunology, cancer biology, neuroscience, and endocrinology where NR4A1 dynamics are of interest.
