Anti-NR2C1 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com binds the nuclear receptor NR2C1, also designated TR2, an orphan member of the steroid receptor superfamily that acts as a ligand-modulated transcription factor. Raised in rabbit, the antibody is supplied unconjugated at approximately 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer supplemented with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is packaged in a 100 µl vial sized for several immunoblotting and staining experiments. The reagent recognizes endogenous NR2C1 in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species work in developmental biology, circadian rhythm research, prostate and testicular tissue analysis, and studies of germ cell function.

Validated applications include western blot for detecting the receptor in whole-cell and tissue lysates, and immunohistochemistry for visualizing its distribution in fixed sections.
