Rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com raised against NQO2 (NAD(P)H quinone dehydrogenase 2), a cytosolic flavoprotein that catalyzes two-electron reduction of quinone substrates using dihydronicotinamide riboside as cofactor. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

NQO2 shares sequence and structural homology with NQO1 but differs in cofactor preference and inhibitor sensitivity, making selective detection valuable in studies of xenobiotic metabolism, oxidative stress response, and tumor biology where the two enzymes are often co-expressed yet functionally distinct. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the target, supporting consistent signal across denaturing (WB) and native-tissue (IHC, IF) applications.

Storage: the 50% glycerol formulation remains stable frozen at -20 °C and should be protected from light; aliquoting on receipt is recommended to limit freeze-thaw exposure and preserve binding activity across multiple experiments.
