NQO1 (NAD(P)H:quinone oxidoreductase 1) is a cytosolic flavoenzyme that protects cells from oxidative damage by catalyzing two-electron reduction of quinones, and this rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against the human target for laboratory research workflows.

Investigators commonly deploy it in Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence experiments to map NQO1 expression in human tissue sections and cultured cells, supporting studies of redox biology, xenobiotic metabolism, and tumor biology.

Because NQO1 induction is a hallmark readout of Nrf2 pathway activation and the enzyme is frequently overexpressed in several solid tumors, the reagent addresses projects focused on oxidative stress, chemoprevention, and quinone-metabolizing capacity.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum sufficient for multiple blots and staining runs, it is reactive with human NQO1 and should be stored under standard short-term refrigerated conditions consistent with affinity-purified polyclonal reagents.
