This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognizes Nucleophosmin phosphorylated at threonine 199, a mitosis-associated modification on the NPM1 nucleolar phosphoprotein. The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is unconjugated for flexible assay design.

NPM1 (also referred to as B23 or numatrin) shuttles between the nucleolus and nucleoplasm, where it contributes to ribosome biogenesis, centrosome duplication, and genomic stability. Phosphorylation at the T199 site rises during mitotic entry and is commonly examined in studies of cell cycle regulation, mitotic checkpoint fidelity, and the aberrant nucleolar signaling observed in acute myeloid leukemia and other malignancies.

Raised in rabbit, the polyclonal antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work across cancer cell lines, primary tumor tissue, and animal model systems. Handle the vial as a refrigerated reagent to preserve phospho-specific binding activity; aliquoting prior to freezing extends usable life and limits freeze-thaw damage. For research use only.
