Anti-NOS3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against endothelial nitric oxide synthase (NOS3, also called eNOS), a calcium/calmodulin-dependent enzyme of approximately 133 kDa that converts L-arginine to nitric oxide in vascular endothelial cells. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated polyclonal antiserum from Antibodies.com, validated for western blot, immunofluorescence, and ELISA applications in human, mouse, and rat samples.

NOS3 localizes to caveolae at the inner plasma membrane, where mechanical and hormonal stimuli are coupled to NO release and downstream cGMP-mediated vasodilation. Because this reagent is polyclonal, the antibody pool binds multiple epitopes across the full-length NOS3 protein, supporting robust detection in expression profiling, knockout verification, and signaling studies relevant to hypertension, atherosclerosis, and angiogenic remodeling.

Recommended handling: prepare single-use aliquots upon first thaw to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and store the stock frozen at -20°C. Working dilutions can be refrigerated for short-term use.
