Anti-NOS1 Antibody

This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against neuronal nitric oxide synthase (NOS1, also referred to as nNOS neuronal). It is supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent, validated for Western blot (WB) applications on rat samples, with host species Rabbit, clonality Polyclonal, and isotype IgG.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–180 of human NOS1 (accession NP_000611.1). The antibody is affinity-purified and supplied as a liquid preparation. The target has a molecular weight of 160 kDa. The formulation is phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300.

The recommended Western blot dilution is 1:500–1:2,000. The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
