Anti-Norovirus genogroup I Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal reagent targets the capsid protein of Norovirus genogroup I and is supplied as a Protein A purified, unconjugated antibody in a 1 mg format. The clone recognises the GI capsid protein specifically and shows no cross-reactivity with Genogroup II capsid, making it well suited to ELISA and Western blot workflows that require discrimination between the two major norovirus genogroups. The antibody is of the IgG2a isotype, is formulated in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.1% sodium azide as preservative, and is provided as a liquid at a concentration of ≥1.0 mg/ml with a purity of ≥90%. For routine handling, the purified antibody should be stored at 2–8 °C and must not be frozen; long-term storage below −18 °C is possible if a carrier protein such as 0.1% HSA or BSA is added to preserve activity.
