Anti-Nono Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the Nono (non-POU domain-containing octamer-binding protein, also known as NonO or p54nrb) nuclear protein and is supplied at 50 µl per vial. The antibody is raised in rabbit, purified by affinity chromatography using the immunogen (a specific peptide of human Nono), and provided at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in unconjugated form. It is validated for western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and shows reactivity with human, mouse and rat samples, detecting endogenous levels of total Nono protein. The formulation is a phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The vial is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody activity. Intended for research use only, this polyclonal primary antibody is well suited to studies of RNA processing, transcriptional regulation and DNA damage response pathways in which the multifunctional 54–55 kDa Nono nuclear protein participates.
